About Escuela de Música

Escuela de Musica is a publishing company in music education material for children as young as 3 years old. Its books are now being used in dozens of schools in the United States, Mexico, Latin America and Spain. It also provides quality instrumental music instruction to public and private school throughout the greater San Diego area.

Escuela de Musica currently coordinates instrumental music programs at more than two dozens public and private schools in grades Kindergarten through 12. Instruction is offered before school, during the school day and after school depending on the needs of each individual school.

The Escuela de Musica administers every aspect of the instrumental music program including student recruitment and enrollment, instrument sales and rentals, music selection and distribution, weekly or bi-weekly instruction and all recital and concert performances.

Lessons are given on recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion, violin, cello, vihuela, guitarron, and guitar.

The programs are funded by a variety of means including grants, school budgeted instructional monies and parent-pay programs.

Escuela de Musica instructors are among the area’s finest music teachers. In addition to their formal training they are also trained to follow the Escuela de Musica teaching method, which has proven to be very successful with children of all ages. Our students are a living proof of our success.

The school instrumental music program is the perfect opportunity for young people to participate in a planned creative program. EDM’s instrumental music program can help students develop many valuable skills like physical and mental coordination, self-expression, and group participation and cooperation… very practical skills that will assist your child in all his/her experiences. And, of course, children also benefit from learning and performing music – something they will carry with them throughout life.

Sincerely,

Alfredo Aranda, Founder
